The Operative Unit carries out the following activities: Outpatient activities Specialist consultancy in the following areas: cataract, cornea, low vision, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, orthoptics, surgical retina, medical retina, strabismus, ocular surface Instrumental diagnostics: endothelioscopy, fluorangiography, HRT, microperimetry, OCT, perimetry, corneal topography Specialist Outpatient Treatments: glaucoma, low vision, retina, photodynamic therapy, anterior segment laser therapy.
Surgical activity Several thousand surgeries are performed in the following areas: ocular adnexa, cataract, retinal detachment, glaucoma, strabismus, intravitreal therapies, full-thickness and lamellar corneal transplantation, ocular traumatology, vitrectomy.
