Health without Postcodes: Accelerating Access to Rare and Complex Disease Therapies in Europe

A high-level policy event Health without Postcodes: Accelerating Access to Rare and Complex Disease Therapies in Europe will take place on 1 July 2026, from 14:00 to 16:00 CET, at the European Parliament in Brussels and online.

Co-hosted by MEP Vytenis Andriukaitis, MEP Stine Bosse, the European Reference Networks and the Brains for Brain Foundation, and held within the broader Health Leadership Mission for Rare Diseases (HLM4RARE), this high-level policy event will bring together policymakers, institutional leaders, clinicians, patient representatives and industry stakeholders.

The discussion will focus on Joint Clinical Assessments, early access models and the broader coordination needed to accelerate equitable and timely access to therapies for people living with rare and complex diseases.
