HCP Center
The Center of Expertise for Rare Ocular Diseases (CEBOR) operates within the Emergency Clinical Municipal Hospital Timişoara and has been active since 2016, continuing over a decade of specialized work in this field. The center provides advanced diagnostics, personalized treatment, and genetic counseling for patients of all ages with rare ocular diseases. CEBOR works closely with the Department of Medical Genetics at the "Victor Babes" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timișoara, the National Alliance for Rare Diseases Romania, and the Romanian Society of Ophthalmogenetics. Since 2022, it has been a member of the European Reference Network for Rare Eye Diseases (ERN-EYE). CEBOR is dedicated to clinical excellence, research, and improving the quality of life for people with rare eye conditions.
