Rare Disease Day, celebrated every year on the last day of February, will take place on 29 February 2024. Many inspiring initiatives will be organised around the world. The aim of the day is to raise public awareness and mobilise greater support for people affected by rare diseases.
Through various events organised in many regions, the medical community, patient organisations, researchers and advocates join forces to highlight the challenges faced by people living with rare diseases. These events provide an opportunity to share knowledge, explore new scientific advances and discuss progress in the field of rare diseases.
