The 49th Annual Meeting of the European Paediatric Ophthalmology Society wil take place in Paris, France.
This meeting is hosted by Matthieu Robert, with Alejandra Daruich and Dominique Bremond-Gignac. The last time EPOS met in Paris was in 2009. Recent years have seen such tremendous progress in the field of treatments that it may sometimes feel hard to remain up to date. Treating children early enough may not only prevent many cases of low vision in children; it will also likely change tomorrow’s face of adult ophthalmology. The focus will be on novel therapies as the main topic of the meeting.
The EPOS mission is to promote clinical and scientific paediatric ophthalmology throughout Europe and beyond and attract young clinicians and researchers in the field. The meeting will comprise keynote lectures by well-known experts, free papers and poster sessions on the main topic and all other areas of paediatric ophthalmology. Sufficient time will be provided for discussion within plenary sessions and around the posters.
