Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) was performed on the CPMS

Considering the sensitivity of the personal data, the complexity of the environment in which these data evolves and the requirements related to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), DG SANTE decided to assess the compliance level of the Clinical Patient Management System (CPMS) against cybersecurity and data protection standards regulations.

A Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) was performed on the CPMS. The DPIA is a mandatory tool for accountability and data protection.

The overall objective is to obtain a clear view on the level of information security, risk exposure and data protection compliance of the CPMS and the remediation actions necessary to ensure the highest degree of maturity and compliance with data protection standards.

The result of this DPIA shows that the CPMS responds to the security standards of personal data for the rights and freedoms of natural persons.
