Het Oogziekenhuis Rotterdam is de grootste onderwijsinstelling voor toekomstige oogartsen in Nederland en leidt jonge artsen en fellows van over de hele wereld op. Het ziekenhuis scoort uitstekend op het gebied van patiënttevredenheid door continu de wensen en behoeften van patiënten te evalueren en verbeteringen door te voeren om de patiëntervaringen te optimaliseren.
Het Oogziekenhuis Rotterdam is medeoprichter van de World Association of Eye Hospitals (WAEH). Binnen dit netwerk worden kennis en best practices uitgewisseld tussen ruim 40 oogziekenhuizen en oogafdelingen over de hele wereld.
Het ziekenhuis beschikt over een groot landelijk netwerk van aangesloten oogafdelingen. Wij leveren oogzorg in samenwerking met geselecteerde landelijke partners in de keten van eerste- en tweedelijnszorg, revalidatie en patiëntenverenigingen. Samen met hen verbeteren wij elke dag het zicht van mensen. Dit is onze zorgfocus.
