De Operatie-eenheid voert de volgende activiteiten uit: Poliklinische activiteiten Gespecialiseerd advies op de volgende gebieden: cataract, hoornvlies, slechtziendheid, glaucoom, neuro-oftalmologie, orthoptiek, chirurgisch netvlies, medisch netvlies, scheelzien, oogoppervlak Instrumentele diagnostiek: endothelioscopie, fluorangiografie, HST, microperimetrie, OCT, perimetrie, hoornvliestopografie Gespecialiseerde poliklinische behandelingen: glaucoom, slechtziendheid, netvlies, fotodynamische therapie, lasertherapie voor het voorste segment.
Chirurgische activiteit Er worden enkele duizenden operaties uitgevoerd op de volgende gebieden: oculaire adnexen, cataract, netvliesloslating, glaucoom, scheelzien, intravitreale therapieën, volledige dikte- en lamellaire hoornvliestransplantatie, oculaire traumatologie, vitrectomie.
