Slimnīcas firmas zīme pēdējos trīsdesmit gados ir augsta līmeņa specializācija bērnu ārstēšanā, kas nāk ne tikai no Romas vai Itālijas, bet arī no Eiropas kaimiņvalstīm. 1985. gadā tā tika oficiāli atzīta par pētniecības slimnīcu (Istituto di Ricovero e Cura a Carattere Scientifico), tādējādi tiek iekļauta starp svarīgākajām valsts visaptverošajām slimnīcām un kļūst par vienu no trim bērnu pētniecības slimnīcām Itālijā.
