Rare Eye Diseases display major heterogeneity and represent the leading cause of visual impairment/visual loss in children & young adults. Significant barriers remain for early diagnosis, patient management & research. EU experts decided to join forces in a European Reference Network.

All 24 ERNs united to help Ukrainian people with rare diseases

All 24 European Reference Networks (ERNs) launch a dedicated website and social media campaign to collect information to help health professionals to find support for Ukrainian patients with rare diseases: diagnosis, treatment, advice.

Recent news

EURORDIS held a webinar on 4th May 2023 on "Rare Disease National Networks & ERN National Coordination Hubs".

The monitoring for 2022 has been successfully completed and submitted.

The course “Development of Clinical Practice Guidelines” is already available in the EU Academy of the European Commission.
