Manca Tekavcic Pompe, University Eye Clinic Ljubljana, Slovenia

Dr Manca Tekavcic Pompe is a paediatric ophthalmologist from University Eye Clinic Ljubljana, Slovenia with a special clinical and research interest in paediatric neuro-ophthalmology including visual electrodiagnostics. Dr Tekavcic Pompe is currently the president of Slovenian Society for Paediatric Ophthalmology, as well as World Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (WSPOS) Scientific Bureau co-chair and European Paediatric Ophthalmological Society (EPOS) board member.

Sanil Shah, Oxford University Eye Hospital, United Kingdom

Sanil Shah, MBBS, MS, FRCS, FRCOphth, is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Oxford Eye Hospital and an Honorary Consultant at Darlington memorial hospital. He has sub-specialty expertise in Paediatric ophthalmology and Neuro-ophthalmology. He is actively involved in training and research. His main area of research interest is ocular motility disorders and papilloedema. He is currently focusing on papilloedema early detection and differentiation from pseudo-papilloedema. He is a Fellow of Royal college of Surgeons of Glasgow and the Royal College of Ophthalmologist.

Maja Šuštar Habjan, University Eye Clinic Ljubljana, Slovenia

Maja Sustar Habjan is a clinical scientist and head of a Laboratory for clinical electrophysiological diagnostics in Eye Hospital, University Medical Centre Ljubljana, Slovenia. She graduated from Biology, where she got her first experiences with visual electrophysiology, her graduation thesis was based on the ERG of Drosophila. In 2005 she was employed as a researcher at the Eye Hospital in Ljubljana. She finished her PhD at the Medical University in 2010, in which she investigated and developed several (at that time yet non-standardised) ERG techniques - On-Off ERG, PnNR and S-cone ERG. As an active member of International Society for Clinical Electrophysiology of vision she co-authored two ISCEV guidelines for extended ERG protocols. Besides her scientific work she is routinely recording and interpreting electrophysiological findings in adults and pediatric patients. Her laboratory uses non-invasive technique for pediatric electrophysiology, which was implemented by prof.Tony Kriss and prof.Dorothy Thompson from Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, UK. Such a technique provides valuable functional information about the visual system in pediatric patients requiring neuro-ophthalmological treatment.

Christina Gerth-Kahlert, Universitätsspital Zürich, Switzerland

Prof. Dr. med Gerth-Kahlert is a senior consultant physician (Leitende Ärztin) at the Department of Ophthalmology of the University Hospital Zurich, specializing in pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and rare disease. Her research is focused on ocular genetics and electrophysiology of the eye.
