Centro HCP
El Centro de Oftalmología del Hospital Universitario de Tübingen es el mayor y uno de los centros de oftalmología más importantes de Alemania y pionero en investigación y trabajo clínico. Está muy involucrado en muchos desarrollos actuales en el campo de la oftalmología. El Centro de Oftalmología está formado por el Hospital Universitario de Oftalmología y el Instituto de Investigaciones Oftalmológicas.
El Hospital Oftalmológico Universitario cubre y trata un amplio espectro de enfermedades oftalmológicas, incluido el traumatismo. Posee una posición de liderazgo en atención médica e investigación. El Instituto de Investigación Oftálmica, fundado en 2007, se concentra en enfermedades degenerativas, inflamatorias, neoplásicas y vasculares del ojo y de las vías visuales a nivel molecular, celular y sistémico.
