Los objetivos del centro son:
Proporcionar al paciente y a su familia una atención médica (oftalmológica y genética en particular), ortóptica (rehabilitación, baja visión), psicológica y social coherente e integral.
Garantizar un relevo con los médicos tratantes y corresponsales, las redes médicas y psicosociales de gestión de la baja visión y las asociaciones de pacientes.
Desarrollar y participar en programas de investigación dedicados a la genética oftalmológica a nivel local, nacional e internacional.
